Man and woman 'seriously injured' in Norfolk shooting

Two people have suffered serious injuries in a shooting near Downham Market in Norfolk.

Police were called to an address in the High Street, Nordelph, at 1130 BST, where they found a man and a woman with firearms injuries.

They were treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

A 57-year-old local man was arrested close to the scene by firearms officers and a shotgun was recovered. The area has been sealed off by officers.

Police said it appeared to be an isolated incident involving people known to one another.
