A taxi driver has been found guilty of raping and threatening to kill an 18-year-old woman in a "sickening assault" in Surrey.
Masood Ahmed, 26, of Seaforth Avenue, New Malden, south-west London, was convicted on Tuesday following a trial at Guildford Crown Court.
The woman was attacked by Ahmed in Parvis Road in West Byfleet in the early hours of 13 August 2010.
He will be sentenced at Guildford Court Court on 22 August.
Surrey Police said Ahmed had forced the woman into woodland, put his hands around her throat and threatened to kill her before he assaulted and raped her.
Officers recovered a number of items from the scene including a petrol receipt which allowed detectives to trace Ahmed, who worked for a London taxi firm, from CCTV at a filling station.
He was arrested by officers just hours later.
Det Sgt Simon Corke, of Surrey Police, said: "This was sickening assault on a vulnerable young woman.
"Through quick police work Ahmed was identified and arrested the same day and I am extremely proud of the efforts made by the whole investigation team."
Ahmed was convicted of two counts of rape, one charge of a assault and one count of making threats to kill.
He was found not guilty of one charge of sexual assault.
