Voting under way in Greater Manchester

Voting has started for elections in Greater Manchester's 10 metropolitan district councils.

Labour currently hold Manchester, Salford, Tameside, and Wigan with the Tories in charge of Trafford and the Liberal Democrats ruling Stockport.

Four other authorities are currently hung administrations: Bolton, Bury, Oldham and Rochdale.

The council election counts are taking place overnight with the AV referendum count later on Friday.
