Southeastern freight train derails at Robertsbridge

A freight train has derailed near Robertsbridge in East Sussex, Southeastern Railway has said.

According to the company, no passenger trains were involved in the derailment and Network Rail is at the scene and working to clear the line.

All services have been stopped between Robertsbridge and Hastings, with buses replacing trains.

A Southeastern spokesperson said: "It is likely that services will be disrupted for the most of the evening."
