Second Severn Crossing crash: Llanbradach motorcyclist dies

A motorcyclist has died after a collision which temporarily closed the westbound Second Severn Crossing.

Gwent Police said the man, 31, from Llanbradach, Caerphilly county, died following a collision involving a van.

The incident happened about 300m (330 yards) before the tolls at about 17:50 BST on Tuesday. No-one else was injured.

The road reopened about three hours later after tailbacks to junction 20, the M5 Almondsbury interchange.

Gwent Police have asked witnesses to call their collision investigation unit on 01633 642404.
