Golfer causes 12 acre blaze with swing onto rock

The golf ball landed in the rough area at Shady Canyon Golf, USA
A golfer at the Shady Canyon Golf Course in USA caused a blaze from a shot on Saturday.
The un-named golfer made a shot into the rough, when he attempted his next shot his golf club caught the edge of a rock causing a spark and set the surrounding rough alight.
The fire continued to spread, according to Fire officials it progressed into the nearby vegetation around the course and then into two hillside areas. 150 firefighters in total attended the scene to extinguish the 12-acre fire.
The fire was put out after a significant effort, no charges were made against the golfer.
