X Factor stars 'trash Cowell's house'
Published: 31st Aug 2010 18:41:29

X Factor judge Simon Cowell is said to be furious after some of this year's contestants trashed his £1 million Spanish villa.
The rented pad reportedly costs the music mogul £15,000 a day and boasts 20 bedrooms, as well as a gym and a cinema.
A source told the Daily Mail that it was "chaos", with the pop wannabes getting very excited.
Cowell, who was woken up by the contestants, said they will have to deal with the consequences.
"Yes they did wake me up… Any damage will have to be paid out of their first royalty cheque if they make it - to teach them a lesson," he said.
The X Factor hopefuls are rumoured to have knocked back champagne and destroyed a £5,000 Persian rug.
The hit ITV show caused controversy last week after it was revealed that tuning technology was used to enhance the sound on a number of auditions.
