Porthmadog murder inquiry brother released
Published: 6th May 2010 20:50:39
A 20-year-old man arrested as part of the inquiry into the murder of Ffion Wyn Roberts in Porthmadog, Gwynedd, has been released on police bail.
BBC Wales understands that he is Ms Roberts' younger brother Elgan.
A 52-year-old man also arrested as part of the investigation was released on Wednesday following questioning.
Ms Roberts's body was found on 10 April in a stretch of water known as Y Cyt. Officers spent all Tuesday examining the family home and a vehicle.
The care worker had been celebrating a friend's birthday in nearby Tremadog on the night she was killed.
Last week an inquest heard she had been strangled with a ligature and drowned. The inquest was then adjourned as the police investigation continued.
