Man in court charged with murdering Hull baby girl

A 21-year-old man has appeared before magistrates charged with murdering a one-year-old girl in Hull.
Oliver Longcake, of Davidstow Close, Bransholme, was remanded in custody by Hull magistrates to appear at the city's crown court on Friday.
Police were alerted about the death by Hull Royal Infirmary on Monday. A post-mortem examination revealed the baby died from internal injuries.
A 24-year-old woman has been released on bail in connection with the death.
