Pobol y Cwm actor Huw Ceredig dies aged 69

Actor Huw Ceredig who played the role of Reg Harries in the Welsh language drama series Pobol y Cwm for 29 years has died at the age 69.
He also appeared in other TV programmes including Emmerdale, Heartbeat, Z Cars and Doctors.
Film credits include parts in Rebecca's Daughters and cult comedy Twin Town.
Born in Brynaman in Carmarthenshire he was the brother of Plaid Cymru politician and singer Dafydd Iwan and assembly member Alun Ffred Jones.
