Arrest over suspicious house fire in Pontarddulais

A 29-year-old local man has been arrested in connection with a suspicious fire at Pontarddulais, say Dyfed- Powys Police.
The fire at Fforest Cottages, Fforest Road, is believed to have been intentionally started at about 1245 BST on 6 August, causing extensive damage.
Nobody was injured in the blaze.
Meanwhile, police at Llanelli are investigating a suspicious fire at a house in Danybanc, Felinfoel, in the early hours of Sunday.
It is believed the fire, in a downstairs lounge, was started deliberately.
No-one was injured and the blaze was extinguished by fire crews. The house suffered extensive damage.
Anyone with any information about either incident can contact Llanelli CID on 101.
