'Two killed' in Afghan explosion
Published: 4th Feb 2010 16:48:32
An explosion in the southern Afghan city of Kandahar has killed at least two people and wounded 17, Afghan police have said.
The blast went off quite near the centre of Kandahar, Afghanistan's second city.
Initial reports suggest the explosion may have been caused by a suicide car bomb.
On Tuesday, two US soldiers were killed in a bomb attack in southern Afghanistan, Nato said.
