Police sniff out cannabis plants at a house in Kent

More than 600 cannabis plants have been seized from a house in Kent after police on patrol smelt a pungent odour.
Officers raided the property in Heathorn Street, Maidstone, on Sunday morning.
Kent Police said the cannabis plants had an estimated street value of £48,000.
Sgt Richard Owen said: "Officers followed their training and their noses on this one as the cannabis gave off a pungent odour."
