Published: 1st Nov 2012 15:45:08
Tayside Police have confirmed the identity of a motorcyclist who was killed in Angus after a collision involving a deer and an ambulance.
Scott Mill, 29, from Coupar Anugs, struck the animal on the A923 just north of Piperdam and was then hit by a non-emergency ambulance.
Emergency crews were called to the scene of the accident, which happened at about 06:50 on Monday.
However, Mr Mill was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 65-year-old man who was driving the ambulance, and its two women passengers, were not injured in the collision.
In a statement issued through Tayside Police, Mr Mill's family said: "Scott was a fun-loving family man, whose family was his life.
"No words can express the loss that we feel at him being taken from us so suddenly."
Inquiries are continuing into incident.
