West Ealing park killers jailed for Abdullahi Osman murder
Published: 16th Oct 2012 15:53:30
The killers of a man in a west London park have been jailed for life after being found guilty of murder.
Sade Samanter, 21, and Ibrahim Dualeh, 34, attacked Abdullahi Osman in Ealing in August 2011, the Old Bailey heard.
Mr Osman, 31, was discovered collapsed by police and was taken to hospital, where he died.
Dualeh, of Acton, west London and Samanter, of Southall in Ealing, were jailed for a minimum of 13 years and 11-and-a-half years, respectively.
Somali national Mr Osman, from Uxbridge in west London, was attacked in Dean Gardens, The Broadway, West Ealing and died two days later at St Mary's Hospital, Paddington.
Det Insp Simon Ashwin, of the Metropolitan Police, said: "Mr Osman was fatally assaulted by two men, who he knew, in an unprovoked attack which had escalated from an argument in a park.
"I hope that today's sentences enable the Osman family to start building their lives again, with Samanter and Dualeh now serving a significant period behind bars."
