Footballer Ryan Thomson in court over taxi driver attack

Dunfermline Athletic footballer Ryan Thomson has appeared in court charged with assaulting a taxi driver.
The 21-year-old and Nicola Young, 21, are accused of conducting themselves in a threatening or abusive manner towards John Reilly in Glasgow on 12 August.
The pair are accused of assaulting Mr Reilly on Paisley Road West by punching and kicking him on the head and body.
They appeared from custody at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Wednesday, where they pled not guilty to the charges.
Mr Thomson and Ms Young were released on bail with the special condition they do not approach Mr Reilly.
They will return to court at a later date.
