Manchester city centre hit-and-run CCTV picture released
Published: 22nd Aug 2012 07:56:51
Police investigating a hit-and-run in Manchester city centre have released an image of the car they believe was involved.
Three men were injured, one critically, in the incident on John Dalton Street at about 02:30 BST on Tuesday.
Police believe the silver Vauxhall Corsa was driven at speed on the wrong side of the road before striking the men.
Supt Stuart Ellison said police "cannot rule out it was a deliberate act".
Officers are investigating reports of an altercation between the group of men and another group on the street before the incident.
The man in a critical condition suffered head injuries, police said.
A 30-year-old man has a broken leg while a 32-year-old man received superficial injuries.
