Three hurt in Manchester city centre hit-and-run

Three people have been injured by a hit-and-run driver in Manchester city centre.
Emergency crews were called to John Dalton Street at 02.30 BST to reports three people had been hit by a car that failed to stop.
One of the pedestrians, a 28-year-old man, suffered serious head injuries and is described as critically injured.
John Dalton Street and Cross Street remained closed in both directions earlier.
