Pair in hospital after collision in Inverbervie

A man and a woman were taken to hospital for treatment after a crash involving a car and a van on an Aberdeenshire road.
The collision happened on West Park Road in Inverbervie just before 08:00.
The man suffered spinal injuries and the woman suffered chest injuries, however the injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
Both motorists were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. Grampian Police appealed for witnesses.
