Man critically ill after 'rock attack' in Tuam, County Galway

A 22-year-old man has been critically injured in an attack in County Galway.
He was walking on Milltown Road in Tuam at about 03:30 BST on Sunday when a rock was thrown at him.
He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.
Irish police have arrested a man in connection with the attack and are questioning him at Tuam Garda Station.
