Janitor William McDonald sentenced for groping teenager

A janitor who groped a teenager and made a sexual comment to a couple has been given a community payback order.
William McDonald, 62, was spotted by a couple from their living room window in Govan, Glasgow, stumbling up the road.
Moments later he buzzed their flat and made a sexual remark. While phoning the police the couple watched McDonald touch a young teenager on his genitals.
McDonald was convicted of breach of the peace and sexual assault and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court, he was given a two-year community payback order.
McDonald - who was employed as a janitor by Glasgow City Council - was placed on the sex offenders' register for that period.
