Wombourne fake coins raids see three men charged

Three men have appeared in court charged with conspiracy to produce counterfeit coins.
Thousands of fake £1 coins were found in a police raid at Heathmill Industrial Estate, in Wombourne, Staffordshire on 5 July.
Gary Hart, 53, of Six Ashes near Bridgnorth, Robert Graham Smith, 43, of Bedford Street, Tipton, and Marcus Glindon, 41, of Church Gate, Spalding, appeared before Shrewsbury Crown Court.
They were remanded in custody.
The three men are also charged with possessing a machine, implement or materials for forgery.
They are next due to appear in court on 10 September.
