Man arrested for attempted murder of police in Ardoyne

A 45-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the attempted murder of police officers at Ardoyne in north Belfast on 12 July.
He was detained on Monday and has been taken to Antrim serious crime suite for questioning.
Trouble flared in the area after two parades along a stretch of road dividing Catholic and Protestant communities.
Twenty police officers were injured in the violence.
