Son appears in court over parents' murder in Sale

A man from County Durham has appeared in court charged with murdering his parents in Greater Manchester.
Stephen Seddon is accused of shooting Bob Seddon, 68, and his wife Patricia, 65, at their home in Clough Avenue, Sale.
Mr Seddon, 45, of Benevente Street, Seaham, who is also known as Nic, appeared earlier at Manchester Magistrates' Court.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Monday.
Mr Seddon is further charged with their attempted murder after a car with all three inside plunged into a canal in Timperley in March.
Mr and Mrs Seddon were discovered dead at their home on 6 July.
