Lorry fire shuts A9 near Aviemore

The A9 has been closed after a lorry caught fire near Aviemore.
Northern Constabulary warned that the disruption on the route could last for some time after the blaze broke out shortly after midnight.
Diversions have been put in place, with traffic leaving the A9 at the Granish junction and passing through Carrbridge before returning to the A9 at the Blackmount junction.
The diversion route is not suitable for vehicles taller than 14.5ft.
Police said they were hoping to allow lorries to remain on the A9 using a convoy vehicle.
