Man charged over Annan doorstep robbery

A man has been charged after a 92-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed on her doorstep in Annan.
It follows an incident in the town's Millpark Crescent at about 22:50 on Thursday.
A statement for Dumfries and Galloway Constabulary confirmed a man had been charged and reported to the procurator fiscal.
Officers have renewed their appeal for witnesses to come forward with any "relevant information".
