Shooting in Stockbridge Village injures teenager

A 17-year-old youth has been shot in Liverpool.
Police were called at about 00:10 BST to reports that shots had been fired in the Waterpark Drive area of Stockbridge Village.
A few minutes later an ambulance was called to Marled Hey to treat the youth for a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was taken to hospital where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Police say he is not co-operating with detectives.
Officers have been in the area and are trying to establish where the shooting took place.
They have said they are keeping an open mind about the motive and are urging anyone with information to contact them.
