Arrest after man found unconscious on street in Wigan

A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was found unconscious in a street in Wigan.
The 55-year-old victim was found with serious head injuries on Frog Lane at 04:40 BST on Sunday after leaving Wiend Bar in the town centre.
Police said the man, who has not been named, was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
The arrested man has been bailed pending further inquires. Police have appealed for information.
