Three nine-year-old boys who were injured by a falling tree on a cricket field in London have been named.

Spencer Cricket Club said the boys hurt at Earlsfield on Saturday afternoon were Lewis Gaston, Aidan Oakley and George Roberts.

Lewis and George, who suffered serious head injuries, remain in hospital under close observation while Aidan, who had an injury to the leg, was discharged.

The children were waiting for a turn to play when the tree fell, police said.
