Catford shooting leaves victim critically injured

A man is in a critical condition after he was shot in south-east London, the Metropolitan Police has said.
Gunshots were reported to police at 21:15 BST on Saturday and officers went to Lushington Road in Catford where they found the injured man.
The 23-year-old victim, who the Met said had suffered bullet wounds, was taken to hospital.
A man has been arrested over the shooting and remains in police custody for questioning.
There were several police officers in the area on Sunday and a cordon was in place close to where the injured man was found, he added.
