Pedestrian dies after being hit by bus on A96 near Keith

A pedestrian has died after being hit by a bus in Aberdeenshire.
Grampian Police said the man died at the scene on the A96, about two miles south of Keith.
A spokesman for the force said the Stagecoach Bluebird bus was carrying 25 passengers when it struck the man at about 11:30. No-one travelling on the bus was injured.
The A96 was closed in both directions while crash investigations are carried out.
A Stagecoach spokesman said: "Our immediate thoughts are with the family of the man who has died.
"There were no injuries to anyone travelling on the bus.
"We will be assisting the police in any way we can as part of their investigation into the incident."
