Arrest after man is shot in foot on Upper Hill Street, Liverpool

A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in the foot on a Liverpool street.
A 34-year-old man received superficial wounds when he was shot while walking along Upper Hill Street at about 23:15 BST on Sunday.
The bullet did not penetrate the skin but the man was taken to hospital for treatment, Merseyside Police said.
The 21-year-old was arrested at a property in Toxteth.
