Published: 24th Mar 2012 14:16:05
Singer Rihanna has been announced as the headline act at a free weekend festival in east London in June.
The Rudebox singer will perform on 24 June at Radio 1's Hackney Festival, to be held at Hackney Marshes.
More than 100 artists - including rapper Jay-Z, Florence + the Machine and Tinie Tempah - will perform on six stages over the weekend.
Those who pre-registered for the event will be able to apply for up to two of 100,000 tickets on March 25 and 26.
Tickets are free but there will be a handling fee. Registration closed on 19 March.
The weekend is part of the London 2012 Festival and the majority of tickets have been reserved for those from Hackney and the other five Olympic boroughs.
Other acts performing include Swedish House Mafia, Emeli Sande, Calvin Harris, Nero, David Guetta, Deadmau5, The Maccabees, The Ting Tings, Dappy, Chase & Status, Professor Green, Michael Kiwanuka, Labrinth and Plan B.
