Murder inquiry after woman found dead in Denton house

A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a 36-year-old woman was found at a house in Greater Manchester.
Police were called to Fernley Avenue in Denton, Tameside just after midnight by paramedics who had made the discovery.
A post-mortem examination is due to be carried out later to establish the cause of death, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
The 41-year-old arrested man remains in custody for questioning.
